A Mystery SOLVED , well not wholly....


It started wayyy back, two weeks back, to be precise. First it was the packet of sesame powder that was gnawed through. All of us thought it was just a bunch of mischievous cockroaches, and dismissed the issue.

Soon, these 'gnawing' thing occurred more often. A hole in the packet of peanuts, a hole in the packet of dried haw fruit, muffins bitten through, whole potatoes reduced to bits. Can it be just cockroaches? Cockroaches don't eat peanuts, potatoes, haw fruit, muffins or sesame powder. That sent us thinking.

Just a few days ago, other neighbours were reported to have caught/found rats in their houses. this was caused by the fact that there wasn't a cleaner around for a week to clean the rubbish collected in the main shute downstairs. So, the stench attracted the rodents. When there are rats, what animals come too? Think, what's after rats in the food chain? It's snakes. we have snakes coming to eat rats in the neighbourhood...

But our main problem is still rats. As for my home. For now, we must think of a way to get rid of them. Finding a strategy now...
